Bringing DNA Accountants’ Brand to Life — With a Big Dash of Orange! : Behind the Scenes on a Corporate Branding Photography Session

When I first met the team at DNA Accountants, I was immediately struck by their balance of professionalism and warmth. DNA Accountants do things differently, and the fun and energy working with them shows how they treat everyone as real people, whether that’s team members or clients. They definitely bring energy to accounting in a way that’s very different from other such companies. Accounting is usually seen as endless numbers, spreadsheets, and tax returns, but what truly sets DNA apart is their people. They bring approachability, clarity, and trust into every client interaction — and that’s exactly what we set out to capture in their corporate branding photography session.

We designed the session to reflect their brand identity: fun, fresh, professional, and personable. From team portraits to headshots to behind-the-scenes moments, the imagery needed to communicate both expertise and accessibility. Clients should look at these photographs and instantly feel that DNA Accountants is not just a service provider, but a trustworthy brand that treats them as real people who just happen to be running a company.

I photographed the team at their gorgeous office in Headley, which was the Old Forge. A very unusual building, but perfect for DNA's base, so I wanted to make sure it played a big part in our sessions. This also helped the team feel relaxed, and the portraits we created feel natural and authentic. Clean lines, bright tones, and relaxed smiles allowed the images to showcase not only the firm’s professionalism but also the human side of the business. We also created a set of individual headshots, perfect for LinkedIn and client-facing materials, alongside group photos that highlight their collaborative spirit. The end result is a versatile portfolio of images that DNA can now use across their website, marketing materials, and social platforms. These photos don’t just show what they do — they show who they are. With a big dash of orange!
