National Trust Charity Portrait Sessions at Box Hill
Those of you that know me know that I love to support the National Trust. Growing up in the area, I’ve always loved going for walks on Box Hill, and the amazing view down towards Brockham and Dorking.
More recently, we discovered Box Hill Bugs, an outdoor toddler group teaching little ones all about everything from the trees and plants to the creatures that use it as their home.
So this year I decided I wanted to give something back to the area, and along with the Education and Marketing teams, we came up with our Charity Portrait Sessions.
Offering a short 30 minute family session to families in the stunning Surrey Hills venue of Box Hill, these are perfect for those that want to update their family photos, especially families that want a framed print for their walls.
As a Thank You to the National Trust Box Hill for letting us shoot on their land, £50 from each session will go straight back to them to help support the work that they do in our local area. This year already we have raised £350, which has gone towards a gate for the ‘Bugs Zone’, making it an even better play area for toddlers and their grown ups during the brilliant Bugs Sessions.
This year we have celebrated both Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day, giving a reason to bring families together and celebrate their loved ones. We’ve had an absolute ball, (squeaky dog toys included!) with grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren and dogs of all ages.
Each session is specifically tailored to the family and their ideas, and the abilities of each family member. No two sessions are the same, meaning that I create something unique for every family.
So here are a few of my favourite portraits that we have created over the past year, that my lovely clients have agreed to let me shared with you.
And if you would love to have a portrait session like this for your family this Autumn, please click here for available dates.
With love, Rachel xx
