It was such a pleasure to photograph the wonderful Tims Family last month. I have known them since our eldest sons were at Waterbabies together, and I photographed their youngest son’s christening back in 2015. So it was absolutely fantastic to see some of the photographs I've taken for them in pride of place on their kitchen walls when I visited for our pre-session consultation. I so love my job! To update these photographs with some new family portraits now that the boys are growing up was indeed the reason that I was commissioned.
Looking to capture the energy and camaraderie of their two young boys, we chose to shoot in Priory Park in Reigate, with the water and woods creating a beautiful rustic backdrop. A stroll around the pond gave the boys lots of opportunities to play, and we even found a Stick Man!
The beautiful multi-aperture frame they chose to display their images is currently on order; once it arrives in the next few weeks I hope to be able to share it with you, along with more of the recent artwork that I have created for some of my other clients. Each piece is hand-crafted in England, mounts cut to perfectly display favourite images with frame styles and sizes chosen to perfectly compliment my Client’s homes.
In the meantime, here are some of my favourite images from my time with this fantastic family. It was a truly wonderful morning, and I hope you can see the energy and love that this family exuded. Have I told you I love my job?!
