As a storytelling photographer, one of my favourite stories to tell is one of a new addition to the family… Those precious first few weeks of getting to know each other pass by so quickly, and tiny fingers and tiny toes don’t stay tiny for long!

Your Newborn Portrait Session takes place in the comfort of your home, allowing us to capture some beautiful portraits with the backdrop of your little one’s first home. Sleepy cuddles, and very gentle, simple and hands-off posing gives us natural, gentle, timeless portraits, that you will treasure for many years to come.
Safety is of paramount importance to me as your Newborn Photographer: your little one is so very precious. The session is very much baby led; as such sessions take around 3 hours, allowing for multiple nappy changes, feeding and settling, at a calm and gentle pace.
Sessions are recommended between up to 4 weeks of age, however due to the nature of the session, it isn’t a problem if your baby is slightly younger, or older. And these sessions are also wonderful to capture siblings and family portraits, in the comfort of your own home. And pets too should you wish!
Whether you’re looking for a Storybook Album, a Framed print for the wall, or even a set of gift prints for Grandparents, each of your chosen photographs is fine art printed to the highest quality, ensuring they look as perfect and vibrant as the day the are printed for many years to come.
Sessions start at £225 and include a 10x8” fine art mounted print

"From start to finish Rachel has been incredible!
My husband and I contacted Rachel through the contact page on her website to take photos of our newborn baby boy, Ronnie. The website was easy to navigate and very professional. Rachel responded within 24 hours of us reaching out and we had a date booked in for the shoot.
When Rachel arrived at our house (during Covid) she was very safe and ensured she followed all of the Covid precautionary rules. Despite having these hurdles, Rachel made us feel very relaxed when photos were being taken (which for us isn’t natural or relaxing). We had a conversation pre shoot about what we were looking for in the photos and Rachel made that happen!
2 weeks after the shoot Rachel contacted us about having a viewing session. With the wonders of modern technology, Rachel was able to airplay the photos onto our T.V. For us to see in HD on a big screen. We were told to be brutal and honest about what photos we liked and didn’t like to ensure we had the best selection. This was so hard! All the photos were so beautiful!
We managed to get a smaller selection which Rachel kindly put on an app for us. This was such a great touch, the app allowed us to easily show family and friends the gorgeous pictures without logging into the website.
The prints we ordered from Rachel came within 3 weeks. We have them proudly mounted on our walls in the living room and up the stairs, where all of our guests can see them. We are so happy with them!
