The 2020 Vision Project

Creating a Tribute for our Healthcare Workers 💙

I'm honoured to have been selected to be part of a very special group of professional photographers, some of the best in the UK, creating a commemoration of our national healthcare workers, reflecting their dedication throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

​

We are going behind the masks to express the human story - not in hospitals or in uniform - but the people behind the masks.

 

Sophie Sheinwald and Annie Murray, founders of the project, say...

 

COVID-19 – a pandemic that has altered our way of living and highlighted the necessity for our national healthcare system and the workers within. 

 

Although this is a life on pause for many, it’s a time for healthcare professionals, current and redeployed, to go into a very different kind of battle on our behalf. 

 

Together we each face the possibility of losing those closest to us, our families, our friends, our neighbours; whilst those on the frontline risk their own safety for the sake of others.

 

The 2020 Vision project that allows us to regain power, to gain perspective and heal as a collective nation. A project that allows us to celebrate the most precious gift we have in society, the gift of life and give thanks to those who are protecting ours. 

 

The aim is to collate and curate photographs received from portrait photographers across the UK and deliver these visual stories through our own collective exhibitions. The 2020 Vision Project will deliver these collections across the UK for the nation to view.

I am looking for 6 Healthcare workers in the Surrey area with a story to tell, who would love to be part of this project

 

In my usual photographic style, we will capture your portraits outdoors, joyfully and safely. There will be no cost to yourself for the shoot, and as a thank you for your time, I will offer you a chance as part of your session to have your portrait taken with your loved ones too. And I will gift you a 10x8" signed mounted print of your favourite image from our time together.
